There are lots of greenery very close to the SMART project. Besides the nearby central park, the Košíře-Motol Nature Park and the Prokopské valley are close by. All of these green areas are but a few minutes’ walk away.
Closest to the project is Stodůlky Central Park. The park concept was made in the 1980s, when the construction of the surrounding housing estate started. In addition to grassy areas, the park boosts several water reservoirs, which give the park a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.
The Central Park neighbours in the Prokopské valley, stretching along the Dalejský brook all the way to Hlubočepy. This rocky limestone nature park is interesting chiefly for its history, which dates back to the Paleozoic and, with a bit of luck, you can come across trilobite fossils here. The valley was later inhabited by prehistoric people, and traces left by them have survived to this day.
A little farther away lies the Košíře-Motol Nature Part, extending north of SMART. Here, too, you can find remnants of trilobites, as well as the highest point in Prague, the Vidoule mountain, rising to an elevation of 371 metres above the sea level.
